Enter exacts quantities of minerals you need, it will compute which ores you have to mine with global mining volume optimization.
Just been looking at the results of the current poll on this site and the results are very one sided. Most people are living in high sec and i dont understand why.
Is it because they are scared of the low sec systems and null sec ? Scared that they may get blown up on entering a system lower than 0.5 ? Trust me thats not how it goes. Just plan ahead, scout out the areas you plan to reside and all will be well.
Is it because they can earn more money in high sec ? I can earn good amounts of money in 0.0 by ratting and supplying mods and ammo to fellow pilots at a higher price so they dont have to travel.
I dont see why anyone would want to hug high sec all the time when there is so much they are missing out on. I know people think you have to be an alliance lap dog to survive in 0.0 but thats not always the case. I understand there are certain alliances out there that will take more than they are willing to give but a little probing before deciding who to join will help you find the right one for you. I would say the PVP alliances are the ones who will expect more from you than they are willing to give. Whereas the industrial alliances would be a little easier. ( Just my thoughts ) Please tell me if you disagree.
Im sure this is an old topic within eve but for the love of god we really need people to migrate out of the high sec areas and into the low. This will be benefit the whole game and totally change the powerhouses that currently run the outer regions and the market.
I would love to see more smaller alliances populating the low sec areas in eve not just 0.0 but 0.0 to 0.4. It just seems so empty at times.
I would appreciate peoples thoughts on this so any comments would be very welcome.
Turok.
Hail!
Has anyone (like me) tried to find a corporation to join that fits in with what one wants and one’s own ethics? Some offers I’ve had involve me helping build or guard wormholes to killing everyone else in PvP missions! What I’m looking for is an organisation that will nuture and mentor me whilst giving me a challenge that involves something interesting. This must be what a lot of other (fairly new) players must want? I have toyed with the idea of forming my own organisation but time is of the essence. Although I do enjoy PvP it must be much better when you can team up with other players and pit your wits against like minded souls.
My other strand is one of separating reality from the fully immersive game play. I was trying to stay in character in the online radio when the guy I was talking to said he had to go because his young son was coughing and needed attention!
Talk about bringing you down to Earth!
I would welcome any comments both constructive or otherwise if I am not the only person overwhelmed by the Great game that is EVE.
Herei
Ok so I am not sure if its my “new” math that is making this really hard to figure out or if the author couldnt do math themselves. OK sorry, however it said for me to do the math so I did and this is what I found.
If short-sighted people make 20 jumps for 6 million ISK which takes an hour to do. Then the trading guru makes 3 jumps for 2 million ISK which takes 45 minutes to do.
So here is the math. Very simple really
hour 1 = 6 mill isk
hour 2 = 6 mill isk
hour 3 = 6 mill isk
For a total of 18 million ISK for a total of 3 hours time(the guide says this is WRONG)
45 mins = 2 mill
so in 3 hours I could make 8 million ISK.
I am totally confused! Why would I want to not waste 15 minutes (45 mins compared to an hour) and lose over 12 mil ISK?!?!
Now maybe the numbers should be more like 2 jumps takes you 15 mins and makes you 2 mil, so that in 1 hour you make 8 mil compared to 6 mil. But NO WAY is the math correct with the numbers provided.
